Our superbly realistic thoracic model, engineered to mobilize artificial organs, provides lifelike VATS and MICS training experiences.
Designed from actual patient CT scan data, this award-winning thoracic cage model precisely duplicates both the sense of size and bone structure of the human body. With the model’s rib texture exceeding mere appearance in closely approaching the actual bone makeup, the sensation of using a trocar and rib spreader profoundly approaches that of real surgery.
With this single unit, surgeons can readily savor both VATS and MICS training. In tandem with our lobectomy model, lobectomy surgery training based on video-assisted thoracic lobectomy can be performed. Combined with our mitral valve model R, mitral valve surgery training sessions replicating minimally invasive surgical procedures are possible.
