Prostatectomy Model

Prostatectomy Model
This advanced prostatectomy training model is designed to support high-level simulation of both robot-assisted and laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.

Trainees can practice all critical steps of the procedure, including:
- Dissection between the bladder and prostate
- Control of lateral pedicles and dorsal venous complex
- Posterior urethral reconstruction (Rocco stitch)

The model is compatible with all types of surgical instruments, including energy devices, offering a highly realistic and versatile platform for surgical education.

Examples of surgical steps to practice with this model

- Lateral dissection of the prostate
- Dissection between the bladder and prostate (via lateral or midline approach)
- Dissection between the rectum and prostate
- Lateral pedicle transection (non–nerve-sparing approach)
- Control of the dorsal venous complex
- Urethral transection
- Hemostatic suturing of the neurovascular bundle stump
